Aino and Alvar Aalto ont été commissionnés en 1936 pour réaliser l’intérieur du restaurant Savoy à Helsinki. Faite d’une seule pièce de laiton, la suspension Golden Bell était partie intégrante de l’architecture du restaurant. La lampe a été ensuite présenté au pavillon finlandais de l’exposition universelle de Paris en 1937 puis éditée deux ans plus tard.
Existe aujourd’hui en doré, blanc, noir et chromé.
Tous les intérieurs sont en blanc.

DESCRIPTION:
Aino and Alvar Aalto were commissioned in 1936 to design the interior of the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki. Made from a single piece of brass, the elegant Golden Bell was a part of the restaurant’s interior. It was shown in the Finnish Pavilion of the Paris World Expo in 1937.
